A prosthetic arm is only half the solution if the user can't 'feel' what they are holding. Our latest bionic limbs use peripheral nerve stimulation to send tactile data back to the brain. Whether it's the texture of silk or the heat of a coffee cup, our users are reclaiming their sensory world. We analyze the signal processing units that translate pressure sensor data into electrical impulses that the brain recognizes as natural sensation.
